Our platform helps connect the community to secure cattle for groups of 16 members. After harvest by our agricultural partners, it is split into 16 shares. One share is usually around 25–35 lbs and includes every part of the cattle except the head.

The Meat & Quality
How much meat do I actually get in one single share?
Our platform connects 16 community members to reserve cattle from local agricultural partners. After harvest, the independent processing center splits it into 16 equal shares.
It is important to note that one single share yields approximately 25 to 35 pounds of packaged, take-home beef.
This includes every part of the cattle except the head. This amount is specifically designed to fit easily into a standard kitchen refrigerator/freezer combination without requiring you to purchase a dedicated chest freezer.
Why does the take-home meat weigh less than the live animal?
This is a completely normal and standard part of traditional authentic butchery known as the "yield curve." The live animal includes the hide, hooves, and inedible parts, which are removed during the ethical Zabiha harvest.
From there, our partner artisans meticulously trim away heavy inedible bones, excess fat, and cartilage. The meat also naturally dry-ages, which slightly reduces water weight but heavily intensifies the flavor.
What you are left with is pure, premium, ready-to-cook beef divided equally among the 16 shares. This rigorous trimming process guarantees you are paying for beautifully prepared cuts—not waste!
How is the beef harvested and portioned?
Our independent partner processing centers employ traditional butchery methods designed to maximize freshness, minimize waste, and ensure fairness. To make storage and cooking incredibly easy, your family's 1/16th share will be neatly organized into four distinct packages:
Package 1: Pure Beef Generous, boneless culinary portions ready to be sliced, cubed, or roasted to your exact preference.
Package 2: Bone-in Meat Traditional bone-in cuts that preserve the rich marrow, perfect for deeply nutritious broths and stews.
Package 3: Ribs Meat Flavorful rib cuts specifically separated for slow-cooking, grilling, or braising.
Package 4: Traditional Organs An equitable allocation of the heart, liver, and traditional offal (excluding the head), cleanly packed for separate storage.
Qurbani Udhiya Style Distribution: Following a traditional Qurbani and Udhiya style program, all 16 shares are equally distributed from every part of the animal. Because this is a cooperative purchase, the entire yield is divided so every community member who reserved receives the exact same high-quality assortment.
Can I personally perform the Zabiha on the animal?
Yes! If you wish to personally perform the Zabiha (hand-slaughter) on the animal, you are more than welcome to do so.
Please let our platform operations desk know beforehand so we can properly coordinate the exact timing and make all necessary safety and scheduling arrangements with the processing facility partners.
