USDA NRCS Funding Secured for
Khalui Farm's Arlington Expansion
Arlington, TN — When institutional expertise is fueled by unwavering community trust, the results are transformative. GrowShare Capital is incredibly proud to announce a major developmental milestone marking our second successful collaboration with Khalui Farm.
None of this is possible without the collective strength of our partners. Following our foundational successes at Khalui Farm’s primary location, the community's pooled resources allowed for the acquisition of a beautiful new expansion at 900 Orr Rd. in Arlington, Tennessee. Today, we are thrilled to announce that this new property has officially secured comprehensive agricultural infrastructure backing from the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
The capital assistance is now fully locked in, and the USDA is actively preparing to commence execution on the subsidized infrastructure.

A Framework Built on Trust
Securing federal agricultural assistance is a notoriously rigorous process. Taking our success from Khalui Farm’s first location and expertly replicating it at this new Arlington property validates not only our operational model, but the sheer power of collective community investment. It proves GrowShare Capital's unique capability to take the community's trust, systematically navigate complex federal frameworks, and actively upgrade our shared agricultural assets with minimized out-of-pocket overhead.
Approved FY26 Infrastructure
The USDA NRCS will be executing a robust Cost Share program to rapidly accelerate the Arlington property's operational capacity. Approved installations include:
- HIGH TUNNELS – Premium enclosed environments designed for year-round vegetable and nursery production.
- WATER & IRRIGATION – Comprehensive installation of Irrigation Pipelines, Livestock Pipelines, and Heavy Use Area (HUA) Watering Facilities.
- CROSS FENCING – Strategically designed to manage expansive rotational grazing zones.
- POLLINATOR HABITAT – Dedicated ecological zones specifically cultivated to support bee populations and local biodiversity.
These federally backed installations will serve as the backbone for Khalui Farm's expanding livestock and cropping operations. The master plan for the property expertly utilizes these resources across dedicated holding areas for sheep and goats, expansive grazing areas, and distinct free-range chicken sectors.
“Achieving this for a second time on a brand new property proves what we can build together. When we combine the unwavering support of our community with the institutional expertise to navigate federal systems, there is no limit to the assets we can develop. This is how we build real, shared prosperity.”— GrowShare Capital Asset Management
As Phase 1 infrastructure breaks ground, GrowShare Capital is already looking toward the long-term vision for the Orr Road property, which includes a future community-facing Farm Store, a pristine lake, and enhanced shelter facilities.
This isn't just about farming. By continually securing cost-share programs, we dramatically compound the land's valuation and operational yield while fiercely honoring the trust and protecting the initial capital investments of our community. This is a scalable blueprint for localized food sovereignty, community resilience, and shared wealth.
