Alhamdulillah, we are overwhelmed by the incredible support! Our 2026 Qurbani offering is now entirely fulfilled and the waitlist is officially closed. However, our commitment to providing the community with premium meat continues year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the Udhiya shares work, and what is the cost?

In accordance with traditional practices, cattle (cows) are divided into 7 equal Udhiya shares. A standard 1/7th cow share requires a $400 pre-booking payment and is estimated to yield roughly 50 to 70 lbs of high-quality, Alabama-grown beef (starting at an incredible ~$5.71/lb). Once exact sourcing costs are finalized, any remaining balance will be requested prior to your scheduled pickup.

Are sheep or goats available this year?

For this year’s Alabama Udhiya offering, we are exclusively focusing on premium Alabama-grown, grass-fed cattle. To ensure a smooth, transparent, and uncompromisingly high-quality process, we chose not to mix livestock types and are capping our capacity at a maximum of 4 to 5 cattle. Insha'Allah, if this pilot program is successful, we plan to expand our capacity and introduce whole sheep and goat options to this facility next year!

Is the Qurbani waitlist still open?

No. Alhamdulillah, our initial allocation and the priority waitlist for the 2026 Qurbani offering are now completely fulfilled. However, our commitment to providing premium, farm-direct Halal meat continues year-round through our standard Alabama Beef Share program.

What are my options for meat processing?

To keep our process highly efficient, we offer two standardized processing options at absolutely no additional cost: • Large Chunks: Unprocessed larger portions, available for pickup on the same day. • Small Pieces: Professionally cut into specific 2x2 or 3x3 ready-to-cook pieces, available for pickup on the 2nd or 3rd day of Eid.

Can I witness or perform the slaughter myself?

Absolutely! Fulfilling the tradition of witnessing your Udhiya is highly encouraged. The Halal slaughter will be led by our qualified team at our community slaughterhouse, and you are more than welcome to be present. Additionally, if you are experienced and willing to perform the slaughter for your own share, we warmly welcome you to do so.

Are extra parts (offal, knuckles, intestines) available?

Yes! In the spirit of a zero-waste harvest, we are offering all extra parts—including knuckles, intestines, and other offal—completely free of charge. Taking these parts is highly encouraged, as it greatly assists our facility with a clean and efficient cleanup process!

If you are interested in taking these traditional parts, please contact us directly via WhatsApp or email us at info@growsharecapital.com.

Do you accept donations for these community projects?

Yes, we graciously accept donations. All contributed funds are reinvested directly into the operational improvements of the farm and livestock programs. These donations are vital in helping us keep the final prices lower and more accessible for the entire community.

Do you provide farm-fresh meat outside of Eid?

Yes! Our vision is to provide the Alabama community with consistent access to premium, farm-direct Halal meat year-round. You can reserve standard shares through our ongoing Beef Share pipeline.
