How it works

Understanding the "Herd-Share"

A herd-share is a legal, time-tested way for communities to access high-quality meat without paying massive retail grocery markups.

Instead of buying individual steaks from a store, the community pools its money to purchase live, grass-fed cattle directly from local farmers. Once the community hits the weight goal, the animal is purchased, humanely processed at our community facility, and the meat is divided among the shareholders based on their initial commitment.

Legal Notice: We are not a retail meat vendor. By participating, you are joining a private purchasing group to secure wholesale, at-cost pricing exclusively for the community.

1

Reserve Your Share

Commit to a share amount. No payment is required to join a waitlist.

2

We Hit the Goal

Once the community reserves enough capacity, the herd is purchased from local farmers.

3

Pay & Pick Up

You receive a final invoice (0% card fees via Zelle/Cheque) and pick up your share locally.

Why Your Support Matters

In a time of rising grocery costs and massive corporate supply chains, your participation is a direct vote for local food independence. You aren't just feeding your family premium, healthy food—you are supporting local Tennessee farmers and proving that our communities can build their own sustainable supply chains. Every single reservation helps us get one step closer to securing our local food network.

Vision for the Future

Scaling Our Infrastructure

While we currently source our livestock directly through local Tennessee farmers, our ultimate goal is complete agricultural self-reliance. By securing the land and infrastructure to directly raise our own cattle, pasture-raised poultry, and lamb alongside Khalui Farm, we will completely remove the middleman and permanently lower the cost of high-quality food for the community.

Partner in Our Expansion

We are actively seeking community partners to help fund the land and infrastructure needed to scale this movement. Let's build Tennessee's food security together.
