Absolute Transparency. When you buy retail, you have zero visibility into where the animal lived, what it ate, or how long the meat was frozen. Retail distributors operate behind closed doors.

By purchasing directly from heritage Alabama farmers through a community purchase, we guarantee 100% pasture-raised, grass-fed, and hormone-free livestock. Because we buy as a cooperative, we bypass retail markups entirely, allowing us to deliver premium halal meat at a low price.

It is 100% fresh, never frozen. The livestock is processed at our partner facility in Alabama, professionally cut, packed, and driven straight to Memphis in a refrigerated truck. You get fresh meat that is ready to cook right away or freeze at home.

We employ traditional butchery methods designed to maximize freshness, minimize waste, and ensure absolute fairness. We strictly provide standard bone-in cuts and do not offer custom or boneless cuts at this time.

• Standard Bone-In Cuts:The meat is portioned into manageable, traditional bone-in blocks. This sizing fits perfectly into home cookware while fully preserving the rich bone marrow for deeply nutritious, slow-cooked broths and curries.
• Equitable Distribution:Because this is a cooperative purchase, the entire yield is divided equally so every family receives the exact same high-quality assortment of bone-in meat and offal.

It is important to understand the difference between Live Weight and final Take-Home Weight. The final packaged meat you take home will be approximately 50% of the animal's live weight (standard industry yield after processing).

• 1/16th Beef Share: ~30 to 35 lbs of take-home beef.
• Whole Sheep: ~30 to 45 lbs of take-home lamb/mutton (depending on size selected).
• Whole Goat: ~22 to 35 lbs of take-home goat (depending on size selected).

This weight includes your complete allocation of bone-in cuts and traditional offal. The 1/16th beef share is specifically designed to fit easily into a standard kitchen refrigerator/freezer combination without requiring a dedicated chest freezer!

Because we are buying together as a community, we skip the grocery store markups. You will get an honest, clear bill based on the actual farm cost of the animal at harvest.

You don't need to pay anything today. No upfront payment is required to save your spot. Once the community reserves enough shares, the farmers will get to work, and we will send you your final bill.

We operate on a strict, first-come, first-served ledger. Because demand for our premium, local meat is exceptionally high, an allocation is officially secured only the moment your final payment clears.

If your payment arrives after the current herd has already reached capacity, your spot will be seamlessly transferred to the very next herd in line, or you can request an immediate 100% full refund of your payment.

All orders will be distributed via a single, central Community Pickup directly at Masjid Al-Salam. We will notify you via the WhatsApp group with the exact date and time the truck will arrive so you can comfortably pick up your fresh meat.
