What allocations are available and how does pricing work?

For the Memphis Meat Share program, we offer premium, grass-fed sheep and goats directly from local Tennessee farmers. You can reserve a Whole Sheep, Half Sheep, or Whole Goat. Pricing is strictly at-cost based on the live weight of the animal at the time of harvest. You will receive a final, transparent invoice with exactly zero corporate markups.

How much is the pre-booking payment and how do I pay?

A $100 pre-booking deposit per allocation is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance will be due upon final harvest weights.

To completely avoid credit card transaction fees and keep our costs strictly at wholesale, we primarily accept final payments via Zelle or Cheque:

Does submitting the online form guarantee my meat share?

No. Simply submitting the reservation form does not lock in your allocation. Your meat share is only guaranteed once your full $100 pre-booking payment is received. Allocations are strictly limited to the capacity of the current herd, so we highly recommend sending your deposit promptly upon receiving your confirmation email.

Where is the meat processed and how do I get it?

Our private harvest is conducted at our community facility (900 Orr Rd, Arlington, TN). We offer three distribution options: 1. Direct Pickup from the Arlington facility. 2. Central Memphis Community Pickup (drop-off location). 3. Free Home Delivery within our Primary Zone (Arlington, Lakeland, Bartlett, Cordova, and Germantown).

What are my options for meat processing and cutting?

To keep our process highly efficient, we offer two standardized processing options at absolutely no additional cost: • Large Chunks (Whole/Halved Sections): Unprocessed larger portions for those who prefer to do their own butchery. Available for same-day pickup. • Small Pieces (Ready-to-Cook): Professionally cut into 2x2 or 3x3 pieces. Available for pickup or delivery roughly 2-3 days post-harvest.

Is this a retail grocery operation?

No. GrowShare Capital is facilitating a private community herd-share. You are joining a closed collective purchasing group that pools resources to buy live animals directly from farmers. This ensures you get farm-direct wholesale pricing, complete transparency, and strictly Halal sourcing.
